On coming Friday to Sunday, I'll be giving a Wahosku workshop together with Takumi Craftworks at MONO JAPAN 2017.
Our theme would be "Japanese traditional tools X Food X Crafts = Culture".
I will introduce some significant ingredients for Washoku, such as Kombu, Hijiki, Miso, Koji and fermented foods while giving demo-cooking using Donabe.
As usual you will have a complete lunch to taste Donabe cooked brown rice, Miso soup with Koji and Miso fermented food.
There's one bonus yummy bite to add up your plate.
Your lunch course will finish with the world's best Amazake (there! I said it!) for your dessert.
The best part is that the special lunch will be served on the RAKUZEN and有限会社マルヒロ Maruhiro Inc.'s tablewares.
Takumi Craftworks will explain the beauty of those table and cook wares, and give you all the hints and tips of how to use them.
It will be a full-filling 2 hours for your mind and tummy.
